20 time 5/12
My project is pretty much complete besides a few minor details in my power point. I need to revise my slides to make sure I don't have any grammar errors. I also need to go further in depth of my conclusion.

20 time 5/4
So far I am all caught up with my timeline as to where I should be. I have updated my powerpoint since last time. All I have to do now is make a page about my conclusions and which stick is overall the best.

20 time project
Currently I have solved my radar gun issue by finding an app that works for detecting speed. I have set up all of my previous information in a power point . I also have taken photos of all three of the sticks and uploading those to my power point. Today I went out and tested my first stick. I used a regulation lacrosse ball and did three trials for each different type of shot. I plan on doing the rest of this sticks this week.

20 time 3/31
This week I accomplished finishing up my background information on the design of the stick. I also researched factors that affect the speed of a shot, & figured out how I am going to set up my trials. Right now I am working on getting images of the sticks, and figured out how I am going to get the radar gun with corona. Next I plan to go out and shoot and average out the speeds from the sticks. And finally write my conclusion.

update
So far my project is going well, I have been diving deep into research to keep my project moving. I have all the sticks I need. The corona virus has affected my project because I can't use my helper, Max Snellenburg. I was going to use his radar gun to measure velocities of the shots I take and use his lacrosse goal, but because of the quarantine I am unable to go out, so I have to somehow adjust my plan to ensure my project is still going to be complete.

elevator pitch
Everyday lacrosse sticks are bought by players who participate in the growing sport. Around 100,000 girls in the United States. This means means more than 1 billion dollars are spent on girls lacrosse sticks. Unfortunately, some girls aren't getting the maximum amount amount of success in the sport when they're purchase cheap sticks that are bad quality. I'm going to test three popular sticks that are bought by consumers. I will conduct a test to determine which stick has the fastest release point. This is important in the game to get off quick passes and fast shots. The sticks I've chosen are different weights, brands, heads, and netting. I have played lacrosse for 9 years now, so I know my way around a stick. In my career I've gone through around 8 sticks. My vision is to be able to provide young girls a good stick that will be able to enhance their level of play. I also believe my test will be able to show manufactures ways to improve the designs of their sticks.

20 time project
NEEDS/OPPORTUNITIES~
As an attacker in lacrosse you want to have a fast-powerful shot. This makes you wonder if there is a certain stick out on the market that can achieve a shot faster than other sticks can produce.
AUDIENCE~
My audience is directed to attackers who play women lacrosse. My project will help prove a sticker that makes a speedy shot.
TIMELINE~
By march 15 I will do background research and history on all the types of sticks I will be using.
By April 15 I will test the sticks and record my results.
By may 15 I will put my project together in a power point and place photos of each stick in the slides.
PRODUCT~
My product will be the fastest stick and research to back up why the stick is proven the fastest.
RESOURCESs~
google
three lacrosse sticks
Sydney Walsh
Alex Mink
CONCLUSION~
I am looking forward to seeing if I am using a slower stick and not benefitting myself.
